Ms Debra Collins

Former team member

Debra has a BSc (Hons) in Sociology and obtained her BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the Open University, Milton Keynes. Debra then went on to gain her MSc in Investigative Forensic Psychology at London South Bank University (LSBU) in 2013.  As part of this course, she completed her final year dissertation on the accuracy and suggestibility of eyewitness memory in young people with Down syndrome. Whilst at LSBU, Debra gained invaluable experience as a Research Assistant for the Course Director, Dr Rachel Wilcock.  Debra was a Research Assistant on the Making it Fair for Child Witnesses Study. She is now a PhD student at the University of Winchester, exploring eyewitness skills in individuals with intellectual disabilities.
